Members First Slate won the election of officers. I have talked with Brother Lamb and he said "Hey, I got my ass kicked". He told me he went up and shook Randy's hand and congratulated him like a real man. That goes the show the kind of class act Brother Lamb really is. I would like to thank Brother Lamb for running in the election!

Alan Lamb Wins another round with UPS!

The United Slate Candidate Alan Lamb will be back at work Monday at UPS. Brother Lamb won his case including full back pay at the UPS grievance committee earlier this week. As I hear the company got caught being dishonest in front of the committee not once but at least twice.

Over a week ago Brother Lamb was told he should take the company's offer of time served as a suspension by more than one union official yet he stood tall and proud and said no to their deal.

This is the kind of man we need as president of our local union. Someone who will stand up to the companies and SAY NO TO THEIR DEALS. Someone who will fight for justice and our rights. I hope you voted in the election and I hope you voted for the only person who isn't afraid to fight for your contractual rights and will stand against the deal making!

I want to say Thank You Brother Lamb for not retiring as you planned and staying around to run in this election.

The Real truth comes out at the candidates meeting tonight about the disk from the last election. This disk contains all the information from the last election including who voted.
I wonder if anyone did a target mailing from information obtained from this so called disk that never existed as ME first slate candidate Jimi said. I recall ME first candidate saying they did 3 target mail outs.
I was told the company representative from the outside group conducting the election admitted that a disk was placed in the boxes with the ballots from the last election.
Then ME first slate candidate Jimi admitted that he dumped the election information into bins to be shred by himself without a witness.
Now who is the lair as ME first slate Jimi wants to call people?
There was an admission of the dreaded disk that quote "doesn't exist" after years of denial. The only person who knows what really happened to it claims it got shredded but didn't have a witness to verify the event.

Brother Lamb:   It has come to my attention today that you have once again posted misinformation on a Blog that you have, in order to show some kind of conspiracy in the Local 728 Officer Election.   Had you taken the time today to ask me (the keeper of the records, your words not mine) when you came into the Local concerning these issues you would have received the facts, and the truth as to your false allegations.   Dove Mailing did the mail out of the ballots. They are bound by the same rules that the Postal Service requires of Tucker-Castleberry. They both have to abide by the NCOA (National Change Of Address) Database that the Post Office maintains.   IBT rules require that ALL members on the roster shall have a ballot mailed to their last known address on record.   Also, Local 728 By-Laws Require per, "Article VIII, Section 4: DUTIES OF MEMBERS  Members shall furnish the Union with a correct address and shall notify the Union of every change of the same."   Dove mailing had to mail out the "bad addresses" that appeared on the NCOA Database, due to it being a political ballot. When all three slates took their campaign mailers to Tucker-Castleberry to be mailed, they were bound by the rules of the Postal Service to run the addresses through the NCOA Database before bulk mailing could be done. When they did, they could only mail out the number that you claimed was 6,408. The Restore The Power Slate did theirs a few days later and they said it was around 6,410. If you had wish to spend the extra money and mail out to bad addresses, then you should have taken that up with Tucker-Castleberry.   The Members First Slate did a mail out of  all members on the exact same day as your slate did of around 6,408 also. (We have receipts from Tucker-Castleberry as proof)   Members First did not do 3 mail outs as you falsely claim, we did 4 mail outs, the latter 3 were targeted mail outs. A candidate can do as many mail out as they wish to pay for.   Your observer should have known this as fact, as he was at Dove mailing and the meetings that were held with the other Observers and The Election Committee and has agreed that everything was done fairly and responsibly.   No election has been "stolen" as you falsely claim. You do not allow any comment on your blog, so this was the only way to "come clean" as you call it.   This election has been, and will continue to be, run per the By-Laws of Local 728. I suggest you get a copy and start reading the facts before trying to confuse the members of Local 728 with the false statements you are trying to spread around.   Just to be sure you do not try to edit this letter to mis-use for your agenda, I have sent a copy of it to all on file in my database.   Fraternally, Jimi Richards

Since you say I posted on my blog (your words) misinformation then please explain?  You agree with the numbers posted on MY BLOG. You didn’t however say anything about the 6,990 ballots mailed out, why? Heck you even admit the outside sources used are bound by the same rules further proving the point. Our mailer was dropped off at the mail house by the printer, not us. We were told our mailers would be sent out to the members on the roster requested from you, secretary-treasure of local 728. Leaving us without reason to suspect there would be any difference between the two rosters or the amounts mailed out.

Correct me where I’m wrong please!!! The “Newsletter” sent out this summer was to correct the bad addresses of the members to prepare for the upcoming election (your words, not mine). So why did the local union spend many thousands of dollars of our dues money to send a newsletter to correct member’s addresses if you weren’t going to correct them? We wouldn’t be talking about the NCOA had the addesses been corrected!!!

The only thing on my blog (your words) you have disputed in your open letter to me is ME first steals another election. No mention of how many mailers you did only asking if people got the 3^rd one. I know it’s the right of the candidates to send out as many mail outs as they desire. Was your target list obtained from the union hall? Do you see anything on the blog saying you can only do a certain number of mail outs? Answer is NO!!!

Also, my observer doesn’t agree with your statement that everything has been done fairly and responsibility otherwise the ballots would have been numbered as we requested and there wouldn’t be any election protest filed by him if he so agreed.

Facts are facts and the fact is the closet where the previous election materials were stored is now empty. WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DISK WHICH HAD ALL THE MEMEBERS NAMES WHO VOTED IN THE LAST ELECTION? I KNOW THAT WE, THE UNITED SLATE DID NOT GET A COPY OF THAT DISK, DID YOU?

MEmbers First Slate Speaks.

Big man calling Alan Lamb chicken little. From what I heard UPS offered Brother Lamb his job back and he laughed at their proposal saying he would rather go to the grievance panel instead. One thing everyone knows about Brother Lamb is he is not chicken little because he knows the sky isn't falling on him. If ME first slate had the testicular fortitude Brother Lamb has they wouldn't be out there BEGGING and BUYING votes. Heck, King Randy hired every supporter he had for this election.

You say Brother Lamb is going to file another bogus protest. Then please explain what happened to the disk from the election in 2007. Cheating by any means is still cheating. Did The United Slate or The RTPS get a copy of that disk? Why, I ask is there more than double the amount of bad address in this election which has less eligible members than the election of 2007? Facts are facts and you don't have your facts together, the truth whomever you are. Sometimes people speak without thought and you are one of them.

You accuse The United Slate of wasting the members dues yet you support someone that wasted well over ONE MILLION DOLLARS last year alone on salaries for friends and buddies. And the name calling again. I know Brother Lamb isn't desperate, paranoid, or a loser. Jealous breeds hatred so don't hate Brother Lamb for doing what needs to be done to ensure an open and fair election.

I hear at today's meeting Jimi and ME first were seeing red today. When I say red what I mean is the red from The United Slate. Hey Jimi, I guess there wasn't a black out today instead a sea of red United Slate Red.

MEmbers First Slate EXPOSED AGAIN

ME first slate gets exposed for lying again. They have campaigned hard on keeping our union moving forward. Truth of the matter is they have been moving backwards since 2007. The numbers speak for themselves. But first things first.

They have lost members thru unjust firings. They openly admit this fact on one of their fliers.

Also saying freight doesn't have enough business because of the down turn in the economy. Yet, they forget to tell everyone about how YRC Marietta isn't a break bulk terminal anymore and is an end of the line terminal now. The freight has been diverted to other YRC locations hence Ringgold.

With UPS hiring more employees that ever before one would think the membership numbers should be much higher. Also, with UPS Freight (formerly Overnight) being brought in the membership should definitely be much higher. That's another big plus yet the membership still declines.

Stay tuned because soon the fatcs will be known by all. Proof is in the numbers and I will soon display the numbers.

ME First Slate EXPOSED

After talking with a candidate from The United Slate, ME first slate has been exposed for the cheaters that they are. We know they hire outside sources instead of dues paying Teamsters from Local Union 728 to conduct our election. These outside sources are hand picked as per the by-laws by King Randy.

Now here's where the problem occurs:
6,990 ballots were mailed out to the members who are eligible to vote per the roster.
However, The United Slate's campaign mailer was only sent out to 6408 members per the mail house chosen by King Randy per the roster. That's a difference of 582 members that didn't get The United Slate's campaign mailer but were sent a  ballot.

Why was this number different? The rosters which the outside sources use are requested thru secretary-treasurer Jimi (oops I did it again) and have a different number of members eligible to receive campaign information. Hence, the rosters should match and not have a member difference of 582. Moreover, is there something being hidden (582 members) here by ME first candidate Jimi? He is the records keeper of the local.

ME first slate sent out their 3rd mailer weeks after the ballots were sent out. Did you get all three or did only 582 people get their 3rd mailer? Was it the same 582 people who weren't included on the original roster requested thru Jimi? What kind of spin will Jimi put on this one? Will Jimi blame some one else like normally done by him?

Isn't it time for the ME first slate to come clean about how they have stolen our elections?

Quit Whining!

And the fact that Alan Lamb's slate was lying about how long one of their candidate was a member is not private or confidential information. Quit trying to project your dishonesty onto other people Alan. We all know be exposed as a liar is embarrasing, just deal with it. Posted by the truth at 10:07 PM

Here we go again. The ME first slate is still trying to confuse members and tell more lies... It was ME first slate candidate Jimi who didn't tell the truth to The United Slate candidate until after the candidate was added their web site. The way I hear it, Jimi hand delivered the member's letter denying his eligibility (3 days before nominations and 18 after the first letter declaring him eligible) because he knew he (Jimi) screwed up. Why do you continue to deny this fact? The truths I have written about the ME first slate candidates haven't been denied. Moreover, some one has tried to confuse issues by turning events around and continuously say, oh, Alan was lying about one of candidate's years as member. So, get over your own short coming and deal with THE REAL TRUTH!!!

Secondly, let's address another issue you mention here. All member's information is private and confidential. Henceforth, that's why you have to request information via the secretary-treasurer to receive said information about a yourself. UNLESS YOU ARE AN OFFICER OF THE LOCAL or ASSISTANT BUSINESS AGENT you can't anyone elses information as to whether they are a member of the local and their years as a member. I don't work at the union hall but I know this.

Third, thanks for admitting to know what it's like being exposed and embarrassed as a liar. That's your words not mine. Read your statement.

Again ME first slate opens their mouth and I have inserted their foot. Don't bring your BS here if you don't know what you're talking about because you too will be exposed.

Fact this person signed a union application when he was hired.
Fact the member has been getting his Teamster Magazine his whole career at UPS. You don't get one if you're not a member right Jimi? This isn't the only person who this happened too either.
Fact after you hand delivered the letter declaring he wasn't eligible he agreed to step down.
Fact no one has hid anything Jimi other than you hiding your inability to do you job.
So, in conclusion, wasn't it you (Jimi) who deceived The United Slate and the members of the local?

Yesterday was the first day for undeliverable ballots to be picked up from the psot office and replacement ballots be mailed out. The process started around 12:00pm. Ended up being another disaster by Jimi and company. Seems there was mass confusion from the word go. The process unfinished around 5:30pm. How many chances do you need before you get it right Jimi? Why are there more protest being filed than ever before?  Because it's always someone else's fault, right Jimi? Of course, we know the E Board is going to deny all protest.

However, I wonder how many of these folks knew they were getting their picture taken? Especially the ones that are normal patrons of Manuels and don't know Randy.

I'm sure he will give you a thumbs up sign. Saying  "Hey dude I need your support. Let's keep local 728 moving forward".
Moving forward in payroll with a 1.29 million dollars during 2009 and how high will it be this year?
Moving forward with new cars our dues money bought this year.
Moving forward with new staffers King Randy hired since October 1st. Of those hired how many are supporters of MEmbers first slate?
Moving forward with giving away more grievances this year than the year before.
Moving forward allowing more wrongful terminations than last year.
Let's stop moving forward in King Randy's manner towards the companies and get back on track moving forward in enforcing our contracts.

Where did the money go ME First Slate?

Since King Randy took office in 2005 there have been car allowances. ME first agents King Randy hired (including himself) were paid a car allowance. How do you feel about paying King Randy $150.00 per week to drive his minivan (which was probably paid for already) back and forth to the union hall from his home or where ever he spent the night. It would be different if he were visiting the members. We all know he only comes out at campaign time. He set this same amount for others too. This amount was paid to others while a union paid for car sat without being used. Where was King Randy and the others while they were receiving this weekly car allowance? Let's see ( not using the months with 5 weeks) 4 weeks x $150.00 = $600.00 per month. $600.00 x 5 people = $3000.00 per month.  Now lets multiple $3000.00 X 12= $36,000 per year. Our dues money paid $ 36,000.00 car allowances for representation. Did you see your agent hired by King Randy at your shop. How many of you would like to have a new car paid for by our union dues yet not having to give anything in return? It really is about the MEmbers first , if you support ME (King Randy), I will put you FIRST, as a MEMBER of my money machine.

ME first claims they are experienced!!!

What are they experienced at, someone please help me here. Okay, I get it now.
They are experienced at wasting money doing little to nothing.
They are experienced at hiding behind locked doors when members come to see them.
They are experienced at taking pictures of the conference room that's looks like it's never used.
They are experienced at spending 1.29 million dollars of our dues money to hire King Randy's friends and supports as agents of the local union.
They are experienced at letting freight companies run freight around Atlanta instead of thru Atlanta as they did before King Randy was elected.
They are experienced at losing good union members at the different grievance committees.
They are the BEST at giving away our contractual rights to the company.
They are experienced at hanging out at the back door to King Randy's office smoking while the phone goes unanswered. Probably a member who just got fired for some kind of BS the company has gotten away with since King Randy took office.
Lets break it down a little more starting at the top:
How many cases has King Randy presented at any grievance committee? NONE, THAT'S" RIGHT NONE!!!!  But wait, he has gone to the UPS grievance panel in Daytona Beach, Fl. while he was enjoying vacation or so he said he was on vacation. There is a point in life where you have to let the pacifier go King Randy. Yet, King Randy calls HIMSELF THE EXPERIENCED CHOICE.
Jimi (the non truth) uses his office to exploit members private information for personal reasons. Remember his post of R T P S candidate Woods address being posted on his untrue facts blog. He also can't even get a members eligibility letter correct either. Jimi sent out an eligibilty letter to a United Slate member saying he was eligibility to run for office then 18 days later said oops I was wrong. Then he gets on the internet blasting Brother Lamb for him (Jimi) not doing his job.  Always quick to blame someone else aren't you Jimi?That's the experience Jimi has.
Scott (No Backbone) well well well if the company wa wa wa wants it then lets give it to them. I don't want them to be mad at me.
Is that they kind of experience we need? I could go on for days but I believe my point has been made. If this is experience I say NO THANKS TO YOUR KIND OF EXPERIENCE!!!!

The ME First Slate Lies again!!!!

Me first slate is at it again telling outright lies. Passing out their flier calling the United Slate the already recycled by the members slate. I guess now everyone is beginning to see the real ME first slate. They have nothing but their lies to tell members since they have no true accomplishments.
Brother Richards forgot that Brother Traylor refused to run again with King Randy and supported a different slate.
Brother Lamb ran with a different slate and said he would never support the likes of King Randy again.
Brother Macdonald stepped down when King Randy ask him to and believed Randy when he said he would not send him back to the freight barn after the election. We all know what happened (King Randy Lied to Brother Macdonald).
Oh wait, they claim to have grown the union and also how they organize companies too. I will again ask them how many members did local 728 have before King Randy took office between the years 2000 and 2004? Never got a reply from Jimi (the non truth ha ha) on this one.
How many members did we gain from their organizing efforts? Less than half of the workers joined the union right Jimi( the non truth ha ha)?
How many good Brother and Sisters have we lost in freight because of King Randy's decisions on freight or maybe I should lack of decisions. Why is YRC now an end of the line terminal? Why is most of the freight being ran around Atlanta instead of into Atlanta like it was before King Randy was elected?

ME first slate candidate Randy (Conman) is at it again.
              Telling people about Alan Lamb being fired from UPS but not telling them it's a trumped up termination. Alan forgot to hit duplicate stop on one stop. Randy is also telling everyone Alan got fired from the local union because he was too hard on the company. I guess Randy forgot to mention he had been fired from UPS too.
             This is a prime example of Randy's lack of holding companies accountable or telling the truth. Why does Randy think he should be re-elected? Is it so he can keep his friends working at the local when they should be fired for lack of working?

This morning like many in the past I called United Slate presidential candidate Alan Lamb about 4:30 am. and guess what he answered his phone. The man answered my call. How many times has ME first slate presidential candidate Randy ever answered his phone this early in the morning or any other time for that matter? This is a prime example why you should vote for the United Slate. Alan is always there when needed and always has been there for us now it's time to be there for him. Now we are to believe it's half a million at UPS and half a million at freight plus several tens of thousands of dollars at white paper contract companies. Claims are just that claims until proof is laid out there so eveyone can see. Either way it still doesn't add up. According to his lastest post they have won half a million dollars then add several tens of thousands of dollars. Sounds more like Jimi is talking out of both sides of his mouth again.

Finally, the ballots are on their way to the post office. They left the mail house around 10:00pm. tonight after all the problems. Yet, Me first slate facebook page said they will mailed hours ago. Fact   ME first slate claims to have ties with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters per Jimi's (the truth ha ha) statement. However, they also blame that same International Brotherhood of Teamsters of every bad decision they get from the grievance (Freight and UPS) committees. I guess when it's good it's good and when it's bad it's someone else's fault.

I heard Brother Lamb had supervisor working grievances for 50 hours that were given away because the company said they exhausted all means. However, the truth did come out later that not one person was called back to work after being given the day off knowing there was going to be late air. I heard Brother Lamb say the center manager even admitted he said in the PCM that he was going to put every supervisor on the road. I will not mention the Roswell grievances that were lost.

ME first  slate does it again. After many problems including a 2 hour delay this morning the ballots still haven't been mailed out and it's 6:30pm. Typically ME first problems. They couldn't get inside the gate for 2 hours then there was a problem with the P.O. Box keys left laying around for anyone to pick up. Now numerous problems at the mailing facility of Randy's choice. If it can go wrong it has and Randy hopes everyone will give up and go home. Another fine mess ME first slate has gotten Local 728 into.

ME first slate tells another whopper!!! Their flier says" SOLID RESULTS NOT EMPTY PROMISE FOR UPS MEMBERS". In 2004 ME first candidate Randy PROMISED ALOT OF THINGS BUT  HAS YET TO DELIVER. We were promised better representation, more visibility of agents just to mention a few.  More grievances have been GIVEN away that ever before according to the members. ME first HAS A PAYROLL OF 1.29 MILLION DOLLARS yet Randy is seen less. How many more cars will Randy buy while president of our union to finally have visibility during a campaign year?

How many people remember ME first slate candidate Randy's promise to fix out penision during his 2004 campaign? Now he comes has a flier saying "SOLID RESULTS NOT EMPTY PROMISE FOR UPS MEMBERS". What happened to you fixing our pensision Randy? You wrote how many letters (1) to fix our pensision? What was the result of your letter? That's right, another broken promise by Randy!!!

Half a million dollars in grievance wins but you aren't telling much grievacne money was given back to the company that should have been won including back pay and supervisors working grievances that were automatically cut to 50% once in your hands. How much of that half a million dollars was former agents Robert Duncan and Alan Lamb responible for winning while presenting cases at the grievance panel.

Hundreds of members returned to work. WOW, I would like to see that in spreadsheet form. Then again, I would like to see the number of fired members posted that didn't get their job back. Out of those hundreds as you claim how many shouldn't have terminated if they really had strong representation? Your flier even admits they were wrongfully terminated. How many were traded off so your friends could have their job back?

Monday morning qauterbacks according to your flier. Thanks for telling everyone that we would be there Monday morning bet you wish you could say the same or do you call 12:00 noon or later morning?

ME first slate candidate Jimi says all Lamb wants is to get elected
and sit in this room. Wow, Jimi you supported almost every slate
in the 2004 election so who really wants to sit in this room more than you?
Have you changed the conference  room to Jimi's Room yet?
Which chair has your name placed on it so you know where to sit?
If Lamb were elected at least the room would look like it's used
for more than pictures. Plus, I don't see you guarding it like normal.

The ME first slate candidate Double D (Double talk Donnie) calls Brother Lamb an election time Teamster yet he is a candidate on the ME first slate which has someone that's known for I only visit whens it's campaign time. And he (Double talk Donnie) wonders how that nickname came about.

Seems ME first slate candidate Jimi (it's all about me) wants to complain about Lamb taking time off to campaign but isn't there on Saturday. Lets get the facts straight Jimi. What event has Lamb missed that he was notified about? What about the stewards training that was kept secret from stewards who don't support ME first slate? Have you done your job sending out notices letting the members including Lamb know when events were taking place at the local whether on Saturday or not?  Isn't it true you did the same with notifying members about events whether on Saturday or any other day as you did with the nomination notices? Most people didn't get their notice until about a week before nominations not to mention the union boards didn't have them posted either. Why were the notices mailed from Connecticut only 2 days before the required 20 day notification? Oh wait, you had them mailed from where, CONNECTICUT, WHY NOT GEORGIA WHERE WE MEMBERS LIVE or are you hiding something.

The ME first slate's Jimi (oops I did it again) Richards sends out letters of eligibly stating people are eligible to run for office then 18 days later or 3 days before nominations rescinds them. I guess Jimi forgot to put this up on the ME first slate facebook page with his claims about The United Slate. Jimi are you hiding something from the people again? On your blogspot page you claim to be telling the truth and facts. Fact is you aren't telling the whole truth. Another question is why are you using your office and official documents from the local union including member addresses and putting them up on your blogspot then going back and editing the address out later. Didn't you take an oath of office?

Donnie Dixon blast The United Slate on the ME first face book page. He talks bad about Alan, Kathy, Butch, and Larry even calling them losers. Then says sorry guys but you are still my union brothers and sisters. Jealously makes one do strange things. Donnie talked bad about his now beloved president behind his back but didn't have the backbone to say those same things to his face. When Donnie wanted to be vice-president 3 years ago and Randy said no, did Donnie do as always and accept the crumbs Randy gives him and take a trustee position. C'mom Double D (Double talk Donnie) how many times has UPS management backed you down. Your members in Gainesville had to go to Alan when he was there and ask him to keep them on their bid routes when you nor Randy could keep them on their bid routes. Yet, Donnie speaks out about someone not standing up. Lets talk about you standing beside someone on a picket line. How many people crossed the picket line in Gainesville during the 1997 strike? You represent me, thanks but no thanks. Remember trying to get one of your members to take a time served suspension when UPS didn't send a discipline letter. If it weren't for Brother Robert Duncan being in the local hearing she would have never gotten full back pay.  How many agents did you train for Randy and do they still work at the local? You say in your post someone isn't qualified to do a job when was the last time you looked in a mirror?

Jimi and his side kick Donnie post their bogus post on facebook asking where is Alan on Saturday when we are working? They have their paid photgrapher make sure she doesn't get Alan in a single picture.  Isn't it time for Jimi and his sidekick Donnie to start telling the truth about Alan?

Jimi (the truth haha) said Alan Lamb couldn't count. Looks more like Jimi (the truth haha) can't count because since July 2010 there have been 4 more employees added to payroll during this campaign year. 3 of those 4 hired since October 1st, 2010. How much of our dues money will the ME first slate spend to hire workers to campaign this year? Anyone remember what the ME first slate campaigned on in the 2004 election? I recall something about cutting expenses including salaries yet their payroll last year was 1.29 million dollars. Does anyone remember the payroll ever being this high?

Randy and ME first slate told stewards in Atlanta Hub they needed to come outside and have their picture taken with him. When one steward ask why, he was told oh we are taking pictures of stewards. Yet, in the past the steward's picture end up on the ME first slate web site. Now they are saying they make everyone supporting them sign a petition. Why must you sign a petition to show support? But it sounds fitting since they always take a managers word over a teamster's word when it comes to grievances.

The ME first slate gets investigated for running illegal raffle by Fulton County Sheriff's office. Seems they are selling tickets for a chance to win a 50" television. I hope they don't get any of their supporters arrested for buying tickets to their illegal raffle.

Seems like the Me first slate is at it again. Telling half truths as normal. Jimi (the truth haha) saying The United Slate is out taking pictures and not telling members what the pictures are for. The way I hear it  the ME first slate is looking at the United Slate website everyday then going to members they have posted and harassing them asking them why they are supporting someone else.
